Rules and Regulations

Tetova International Film Festival ODA (TIFF ODA) is pleased to be introducing our 9th Annual Film Festival, which will be held from 09.10.2020 to 15.10.2020.

Programming Guidelines
Films will be shown at ODA Production, Arabati Baba Teke, the scene of the academy of dramatic arts U.T, SEEU and at the Center of Culture in Tetovo. Categories acceptable for the TIFF ODA:
Categories:
Cine Balkan Panorama (Feature Film) – This category is only for feature films that are produced in Balkan from 2018/2019/2020. (In Competition)
Win Panorama - Short films (Fictions, documentary, animation and student) produced during 2018/2019/2020.
(In Competition)
Cine European Panorama - Movies that cover authentic themes with international recognition and are going to be premiere preview in Macedonia. (Out of competition)
Cine Retro Panorama - Movies that cover authentic themes with international recognition. (Out of competition)
Cine Children’s program– This program is only for Kids. ( Out of competition )

Submissions will be accepted on full HD video file 2K, DVD, Blu-Ray or Data Disc. (If your video is online, you should send us the link for preview).

Submission Guidelines
There are no entry fee for all films.
Films on competition must have been completed after January 2018
The application deadline is July 15, 2020.
Programming announcements will be made September 01, 2020.
Feature films may not be shorter than seventy (70) minutes in length. Short films may not exceed thirty (30) minutes in length.
Content must be suitable for Public Screening.
Please fill out this application in-full and provide links to any website that provide information about you and your work.
Films produced in languages other than English must have legible English subtitles.

ACCOMMODATION
TIFF offers 3 days full board accommodation to the director or producer representing the selected film in competition
during the Festival.

Other guests will be provided with facilities for accommodation and tariffs.



RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. By submitting your film(s) to the Festival, you are agreeing to be bound by the Festival’s rules and regulations.
2. Short films chosen for Win Panorama (In Competition) will be awarded in the following categories:

Best Film (Feature)
Best Screenplay
Artistic Contribution
Jury Mention
Audience Award
 

Best Short Film
Best Short Documentary
Best Short Animation
Best Student Film
 

3. Official awards consist of a statue and a diploma. The cash prize in TIFF – Oda is 1.000 E only for Best Film (Cine Balkan Panorama).
4. There is no limit to the number of films an individual entrant may submit, however, each entry must be accompanied by its own unique application form.
5. Films produced in languages other than English must have legible English subtitles.
6. Applicants in Win Panorama are responsible for securing all copyright clearances and music rights in their films for public screening. Submission of a film to TIFF ODA will be considered as a confirmation that the music and other copyright clearances have been secured. In the event that an entrant fails to secure copyright clearance for public screening of his/her film, TIFF ODA reserves the right to remove the entrant’s film from the selection, and consequently from the competition.
7. Submission of a film to TIFF ODA will be considered as approval by filmmakers for the use of their film in the promotion of the 2020 festival (TV, Internet, posters, flyers and other publication forms).
8. The Festival reserves the right to make changes in the program, including the time and date.
