The 15th edition of TIFF ODA 2026 proudly presents Cine Balkan Panorama, a competitive programme bringing together six distinctive films from the Balkan region.

Through stories of identity, family, ambition, tradition, freedom and human resilience, the programme offers a diverse portrait of contemporary Balkan cinema and the realities that shape the region.

A compelling drama exploring ambition, social pressure and the difficult moral choices that emerge when personal aspirations collide with the realities of everyday life.

🎬 DJ AHMET

Directed by Georgi M. Unkovski

Ahmet is a young boy growing up in a conservative rural community. His passion for music opens a door to another world, challenging the expectations surrounding him and leading him towards self-discovery and freedom.
